「重くなってる！何で？」　～重さの比較～

年少組

最近、泥だんごを作ると重さを測ることにも夢中な子ども達。

今日も作っていると「はかりに行こう！」と工房へと向かっていきます。針は指しているところを確認し重さを確認し、

「◯◯のは小さいね」「△△のが１番大きいね」「⬜︎のより⭐︎の方が大きいね」などと気づいたことを口にしていきます。

針の動く大きさによって大きくなると言うことも、この遊びの中で知ってきたように感じます。

　それから、また白砂をかけにいく子ども達。

一時するとまた「はかりに行こう‼︎」と工房へ。そして順番に泥だんごを乗せていきます。

するとR君が「あれ、重くなってる」と言うことに気づきました。

「えっ‼︎」とみんな驚いて、秤を覗くと確かにさっき測った時より重くなっていました。

「本当だ。何で？」と次々に他の子も自分の団子を測っていくと、みんな前より重くなっていました。

「何でだろうね⁉︎」と謎は深まっているようです。

ここでは自分と友達の大きさ、自分の昔と今の大きさの違いに気づく楽しさを味わっている子ども達です。

いつか、どうして重くなっているのか謎が解ける日を楽しみにしたいなと思っています♪

“It’s getting heavy! Why?”　～Comparison of weight～

Recently, children who are obsessed with measuring the weight when making mud dumplings.

When I was making it today, I went to the workshop saying, “Let’s go to the scales!” Check where the needle is pointing, check the weight,

“◯◯ is small,” “△△ is the biggest,” “⭐︎ is bigger than ⬜︎,” etc.

I feel that I have learned through this play that the scale of the movement of the needle makes it Heavier.

“Then the children went to sprinkle white sand on the mud dumplings.”

After a while, I went to the workshop again, saying, “Let’s go to the scales!” Then, in order, put the mud balls on the scale.

Then R noticed, “Oh, it’s getting heavy.”

Everyone was surprised, “Eh!”, and when I looked at the scale, it was definitely heavier than when I weighed it a while ago.

“Really? Why?” One by one, the other children weighed their own balls of mud, and they found that they were heavier than before.

The mystery of the children seems to be deepening.

Here are the children enjoying the joy of noticing the difference in size between themselves and their friends, and between their past and present size.

I’m looking forward to the day when I can solve the mystery of why it’s getting so heavy.
